Health

Our organization has taken a resolute stance on the health and well-being of children, women, and tribal communities. A standout achievement has been our pioneering campaign against coerced hysterectomies, which brought to light the alarming prevalence of this issue and subsequently served as a model for NGOs nationwide. Our efforts in health outreach further extended to addressing critical concerns. We developed impactful IEC material on HIV/AIDS, tailored to a tribal language. Notably, we created India’s inaugural educational film on HIV/AIDS in a tribal language, facilitating crucial awareness within marginalized communities. In tandem, we have successfully intervened to halt child marriages among the Gangireddula community, even eradicating this practice among nomadic tribes from a very young age. A cornerstone of our initiatives is the enhancement of Mother & Child Health within tribal contexts. Our commitment to holistic well-being is underscored by our sanitation awareness programs, including WASH, conducted in schools. Our unwavering focus on health empowerment continues to drive meaningful change within these vulnerable populations.
